Privacy Policy — Trip Planner

Last updated: September 2026

Trip Planner ("the app") is a private, invite-only trip-planning app used by closed friend groups. This policy explains what data the app collects and how it's handled.

What data we collect

Where your data lives

All app data is stored in Apple's CloudKit, in a private, invite-only shared zone accessible only to members who have accepted an invitation to that specific group. There is no backend server operated by us, no third-party database, and no analytics or advertising SDKs of any kind.

Who can see your data

Only members who have been personally invited into a group can see that group's data. There is no public access, no cross-group visibility, no discovery feature, and no way for a stranger to view any content.

Data sharing with third parties

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third party. Apple's CloudKit infrastructure processes data as described in Apple's own privacy policy.

Data deletion

You may sign out of the app at any time, which clears local session data on your device. To request deletion of your data from a shared group, contact us using the information below.

Children's privacy

This app is not directed at children and is not available to the general public without an invitation; access to any given group is limited to adult members personally invited by that group's admin.
