TallyWorth is a personal finance app built by David Huseonica / DJH Systems & Integration. This policy explains what happens to your data when you use it.
TallyWorth has no backend server. There is no DJH Systems & Integration database, no analytics, and no advertising. Your financial data lives on your own devices and syncs privately through your own iCloud account. We never see it, store it, or have access to it.
TallyWorth stores the account, balance, holding, and transaction information you enter or import: account names, balances, dates, and related notes you choose to add. If you use the optional Retirement Outlook feature, it also stores the retirement profile details you enter: your current age, target retirement age, desired annual income, risk tolerance, and any notes you add. This data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework and, if you have iCloud enabled, synced across your own devices via Apple's CloudKit — using your personal iCloud account, subject to Apple's own privacy policy.
TallyWorth can optionally use AI to read PDF bank or brokerage statements and extract balances, holdings, and transactions. This feature is opt-in and works as follows:
Before this data is sent to Claude, Gemini, or ChatGPT for the first time, TallyWorth shows you exactly what will be sent and asks you to agree before proceeding. You can review this disclosure again, or reset your choice, at any time from Settings.
TallyWorth can optionally generate a Retirement Assessment using AI, based on your account data and the retirement profile you enter. This feature is opt-in and works as follows:
Before this data is sent to Claude, Gemini, or ChatGPT for the first time, TallyWorth shows you exactly what will be sent and asks you to agree before proceeding. You can review this disclosure again, or reset your choice, at any time from Settings.
The Retirement Assessment is an educational estimate only and is not financial advice.
API keys you enter for AI providers are stored only in your device's Keychain, protected by Apple's system-level encryption. We never transmit, collect, or have access to your API keys.
If you use the app's export feature, TallyWorth creates a JSON backup file containing your account data (never your API keys). This file is created and stored wherever you choose to save it — we have no access to it.
TallyWorth is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
